SUBJECT: JEEP CJ5 FOR SALE/TRADE
LOCATION: Siesta Key, Florida United States
Jeep CJ5 for sale. Nothing but nonstop trouble and good times. Not for the weak. If you can't turn a wrench or have a good mechanic, this sexed up monster isn't for you. No doors. No hard top. The seat belts are actuallly TIED ON. If you want to live forever...yes, this Jeep is not for you. The speedometer doesn't work. Neither does the gas gauge, oil pressure gauge and the windshield wipers work when they want to. In bad weather I'd often just lean out to the side and hit the windsheild with a towel. It is a garage built custom Jeep. Fiberglass bucket ( this alone sells $5000 ), part 1987 CJ5 (the only rust is by those sometimes they work windshield wipers). It has a Ford late 60s 302. But gets an estimated 17 mpg which isn't bad for what it is. You can't drink coffee and drive it. It requires focus and two hands. No power steering. No power brakes. No air conditioner but for God's own.
If you like suffering beautifully wind in your hair, thrilling sound of a 302 growling through your bones...this Jeep is for you. $4500. Non-negotiable. Unless there's a boat involved. But it has to be a quirky boat that has some liveaboard potential.
SEE SLIDESHOW below. My brother in law said I shouldn't show a picture of it on a wrecker, but seriously if you're going to buy it, you should get comfortable with how great it looks being towed away. Kidding.
Sort of.
Serious inquiries only.
